PGA Championship- Kiawah

This past week the PGA held the PGA Championship at Kiawah Island. This is only 20 minutes from our house, so we were really excited. Last year, Craig bought week long tickets, so we could go to the practice rounds and tournament rounds. We headed out on Tuesday for a practice round, which is more laid back. You can take pictures and interact more with the players. A big group of us went out there and had a great time. We walked around and saw many of the players. Of course, I was all about TIGER!! I mean does he have a nice butt or what?? As you can tell by the pictures, we did get caught in a little rain, but it wasn’t too bad.
    

We then headed back out on Friday, with Craig’s parents, for a tournament round and brought Madison. She had a great time!! You are not allowed to take pictures during the tournament rounds, so this is all I was able to get.  The hole marshals will put their hands in the air when a player is getting ready to play to make everyone be quiet.  Madison picked up on this and when they would do it she would do it. She even went as far as putting her finger over her mouth and saying SSHHHHH! Do we have a future hole marshal on our hands or what?? Everyone around us was just laughing. She too is a HUGE TIGER WOODS fan!! We got to see him practice on the green after the round and she was waving to him and saying “Tiger Woods”. There was hardly anyone there, so she got a great view. We even made it on TV!! 

We also ended going  out on Saturday and Sunday  as well with other friends and family. Thank you Uncle Paul and Aunt Allison for watching Madison!! We had such a great time and got to see some great golf. I am so glad Craig was able to go, since he is an avid golf fan.  Not sure if it will ever come back to Charleston, so glad we were able to experience it!!  Uncle Paul watched Madison Saturday while we went to the PGA.
