GOOD NEWS!

This past week has been filled with doctor’s appointments for Madison and boy was she a trooper. We first had an appointment with ENT to go over her sleep study results. He was very pleased as her obstructive sleep apnea was basically gone!!! This means the tonsils can stay!! The first of the GOOD NEWS!!! This also means no more ENT for Madison. Next, we had her post surgery MRI. This is always so hard on me because she has to be put to sleep….which also means she can not eat. However, Madison is always so good and never complains. She did great during and after her MRI. Last, on Friday we went and meet with Dr. Glazier, her neurosurgeon, to go over the results of the MRI. He walked into the room with a smile--- what a relief!! He was so happy and said her MRI looks GREAT!!!! We were all  so HAPPY! There is still one minor thing we have to figure out—her centralized sleep apnea. We are now in line to see a pulmonologist. Her ENT says he has seen acid reflux lead to centralized sleep apnea like this before, so we are going to have this checked out. For now—Madison is in the clear!! We are so proud of our little angle….or as she likes to say our “HOT MESS”!! This is her new favorite phrase. Craig and a few of his buddies headed up to NYC this weekend to do some duck hunting, so Madison and I headed to my parent’s house for the weekend. Here are a few pictures from our laid back weekend.

  2. So glad you received good news this month. I just had to comment because I love seeing Madison with her Yo Gabba Gabba friends. When Molly was Madison's age she LOVED You Gabba Gabba!!! I'm sure I can still sing all those songs after seeing those shows soooo many times! She had all the characters too. Madison is adorable, love her cute new hair cut!

  3. Hey! I just found your blog through our mutual friend Caycee! I've been reading along about your gorgeous girl Madison and your baby boy on the way! I have a little girl who is 19 months old and a baby boy who is two months old. You will ADORE watching that babygirl of yours momma on the new baby along with her own baby dolls! Anyway, just stopped to comment on this particular post because Dr. Glazier is our daughter Wells' neurosurgeon too. Not something we usually have in common with people. He and his team performed two surgeries on her last year and we couldn't have been happier with him and his staff. xoxox
