First Day of 4K

Today is a big day for Miles!! He is going to 4K at “Madison’s big kid” school as he calls it!! He will be there everyday—all day!! He will eat lunch in the cafeteria and even ride the bus home with Madison. This is a big step for him, but he will LOVE it!! He is so excited to pack his lunch and meet “his buddies”. I hope he has a great year and grows up in ways we can’t even imagine!! I mean as long as PooP isn’t every other word out of his mouth as it is now we will be doing good!

First Day of 2nd Grade

Y’all these years keep coming and I don't know what to do. My baby is going into 2nd grade. She was so excited for school today and loves to learn!! Her class is filled with some of her dearest friends, which she is soooo excited about! I hope this year she learns and grows as never before!! Watching her be so eager to learn fills my heart with  so much joy!! I hope this desire and drive never dies! Cheers to a wonderful year baby girl!

First Day of 2K

Wow—Summer flew by and my baby is off to 2K! She didn’t even look back. I think Mrs. Miller and Ms. Meyer have their hands full with this one!  Have a wonderful year Morgan!

Meanwhile we were…

Meanwhile we were in the mountains. The weather was cool and zero humidity. We did a lot of exploring and playing. These kids sure do love the mountain life!

Victory Junction

Amazing—is just what I want to say. This place has truly been such a blessing for Madison. She got to spend a week at sleep away camp and experience things that will stay with her forever! These memories bring such a smile to her face that truly speaks for itself . She made so many good friends just like her!! When I showed up to pick her up—she just burst into tears. She was not ready to leave her amazing counselors and friends. This means the world to us and she is SO ready to go back!! Thanks again to all who make this week possible for the kids. You all are truly changing lives!

Hello Nashville

It has been awhile since we have been up to Nashville to visit Paul, so we thought it was time to go again!! Needless to say Madison loves it....so HELLO NASHVILLE! We started the trip off with a trip to the Grand Old Opry! I mean -- what an amazing line up-- Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Diamond Rio, Darius Rucker, and Dierks Bentley! The rest of the time we explored the HOT city, ate a ton of amazing food, did a little house hunting for Paul, and heard some great music! We can't wait to go back!
