First Day of 3K

Summer is winding to an end and school has officially started in our house- well at least for Morgan it has. She has been with me all summer, so I knew today was going to be hard for her. She was all smiles until it was time for me to leave her in the classroom. She had to be pulled off my leg, but I am happy to report that it didn’t last long and she had a great first day!!!! Bring on 3K with Mrs. Parker and Ms. Meyers.

First Day of 2K

Wow—Summer flew by and my baby is off to 2K! She didn’t even look back. I think Mrs. Miller and Ms. Meyer have their hands full with this one!  Have a wonderful year Morgan!

Morgan’s First Haircut

Morgan is almost 2 and just now having her first haircut. Madison and Miles both had haircuts way before this, but with her hair being curly and thin—she didn’t need one. I am still getting used to the curly hair thing. I am so used to the stick straight hair that the other 2 have! I wasn’t sure if we were going to loose the curls after the cut, but I am happy to report they are still there!! I am thinking they are here to stay!! She did amazing for the haircut. She sat there the entire time and even sat still!! Not many people could even tell she got a cut, but believe me she did—the mullet she had is now gone!!

Visit With Santa

I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to go with Santa this year—Miles has been really into Christmas—the elf—and Santa, so I was hoping he would do better with it than he did last year. All day, he kept talking about giving Santa a hug and what he was going to say. I was so excited!! and then we showed up….. and he did awesome!! He sat there and told him what he wanted and smiled for the picture—he even gave Santa a high five!! He was so proud of himself and he kept telling us – “he did it!!” These joys of Christmas, seen through his eyes, are so awesome. They make Christmas that much better!! Now—Morgan on the other hand—just didn’t know what to think. Poor Thing!

Walking, Walking, Walking

This girl loves to walk, which means no more holding for momma. As you can probably tell from this video, we are going to have our hands full once she can start running. I thought it was so cute how she was walking and waving at all the kids at the park. What you don't see is that we were trying to leave and she turned around and started walking back to where we had just been. This girl is already ruling the roost!! Have a good weekend y'all!!

Hand Me Downs

There are some special hand me downs from Madison that I am so excited for Morgan to wear!! This dress being one of them. Madison wore it when she turned 1 and I just couldn’t wait to get Morgan in it. As you can tell, it wasn’t easy getting her to stand still for a picture. She is constantly moving now, but I think some of the action shots are so cute. You can tell that she likes to walk with her hands held up around her shoulders. I am guessing this helps with her balance being that she is in the 99.9% for height. Look at them side by side at the bottom—how precious and sweet!! I also was loving all the black and whites and couldn’t decide which version I liked better.
