First Day of 4K

Today is a big day for Miles!! He is going to 4K at “Madison’s big kid” school as he calls it!! He will be there everyday—all day!! He will eat lunch in the cafeteria and even ride the bus home with Madison. This is a big step for him, but he will LOVE it!! He is so excited to pack his lunch and meet “his buddies”. I hope he has a great year and grows up in ways we can’t even imagine!! I mean as long as PooP isn’t every other word out of his mouth as it is now we will be doing good!

Happy 4th Birthday Bubby!

This boy has been counting down the days until he turns 4. He is so excited!! Miles definitely test his boundaries with us, but most of the time he is a sweet and funny kid. He is always making people laugh and smile with his jokes and humor. He lights up every room he walks in with his contagious smile and up beat personality.  People are always commenting on his hair and how he is going to be famous one day. We shall see!! He also keeps up with these girls pretty well being the only boy. He loves life, his friends, swimming, dancing, his tag, and his family soo much. Oh yeah and Paw Patrol too!! Can’t wait to see what this year has in store for him!! We had his best buddy Liam over to swim and play for his birthday—followed by a trip to Chuck E Cheese(he is obsessed) for dinner—and then a surprise trip for 3 days to the Great Wolf Lodge!! Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!

Visit With Santa

I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to go with Santa this year—Miles has been really into Christmas—the elf—and Santa, so I was hoping he would do better with it than he did last year. All day, he kept talking about giving Santa a hug and what he was going to say. I was so excited!! and then we showed up….. and he did awesome!! He sat there and told him what he wanted and smiled for the picture—he even gave Santa a high five!! He was so proud of himself and he kept telling us – “he did it!!” These joys of Christmas, seen through his eyes, are so awesome. They make Christmas that much better!! Now—Morgan on the other hand—just didn’t know what to think. Poor Thing!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Wow—I think this birthday is bittersweet. I don’t want my baby boy to grow up, but at the same time I have been counting down the days until he turned 3. The 2’s were crazy. He is such a joyful, fun, sweet, funny, silly, and most of the time loving kid. He loves to snuggle, play, and harass his sisters. He loved school this year and made so many friends. Everyone always wants to be around him as his happiness and carefree spirit are so contagious. He is always singing and dancing and having the best time in whatever he does. HE LOVES LIFE!! His hair is his most prominent and well known feature. People are always coming up to us to tell us they love and want his hair. He is really into minions, paw patrol, and anything to do with the water.  He would swim or shower for hours if we let him. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BOY!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Pee, Pee, and More Pee

This kid is constantly cracking us up and keeping us on our toes. He is so funny and loves life. We are in the midst of potty training and it is so different with a boy this time than a girl. I am not used to the pee everywhere(and  I mean everywhere) because for some reason it is really difficult to get it in the potty. REALLY?? Gross. He spends  a lot time outside and naked. This seems to be the easiest way for him now.  As you can tell—he doesn’t mind this so much. Oh yeah-- and his favorite question-- but, WHY???  Gosh, we love this boy and his joy for life. I still can’t believe he will be 3 this weekend!! If you can keep a secret – I will let you know that we are off to Disney Friday for his birthday—but don’t tell!!
