Fall Family Pictures

Well, these pictures did not go as planned. WAH WAH. It seems a lot these days with 3 young kids doesn’t go as planned. We were having our pictures taken in a cotton field about 1 hour away, so the day came……… and Miles was sick. You see—the thing about cotton fields is there is a limited period you can shoot before they are harvested—so I decided we were still going to go. BAD IDEA—he just wanted to be held the entire time and wouldn’t smile. SO-- Sarah being the saint she is—told me we would try again later that week before the harvest. THANK YOU!!!!! Miles was feeling so much better and smiled for every picture, BUT now Morgan wanted nothing to do with the pictures. AAHHAAHHHHHH!!!! So I get what I get and I can’t pitch a fit right??? is what I was thinking----- However, they turned out great!! Sarah is amazing!!! Morgan did have food in a few and never really smiled, but I will take it!!

Visit With Santa

I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to go with Santa this year—Miles has been really into Christmas—the elf—and Santa, so I was hoping he would do better with it than he did last year. All day, he kept talking about giving Santa a hug and what he was going to say. I was so excited!! and then we showed up….. and he did awesome!! He sat there and told him what he wanted and smiled for the picture—he even gave Santa a high five!! He was so proud of himself and he kept telling us – “he did it!!” These joys of Christmas, seen through his eyes, are so awesome. They make Christmas that much better!! Now—Morgan on the other hand—just didn’t know what to think. Poor Thing!
