Bye September

September seems to be flying by------- that being said I need to catch up. We had an awesome girls night last week at Candlefish. We got to make our own candles in whatever scent we wanted and drink wine at the same time!! SCORE!!! So fun and my candle smells amazing!!

 

 

That weekend we had a group date night at The Granary for restaurant week. We had good food and even better drinks!! I love these girls so much!! Here is a little selfie stick action.

 

 

I always think these craft projects with the kids are a great idea when I buy them and then.......... I second guess that decision--- well anyways, they had fun painting their pumpkins and  they did turn out super cute!!. But now I am trying to figure out how to get paint off the porch floor. Any suggestions?? I have tried mineral spirits and goo gone.

Madison's school had the Fun Run as their fundraiser last week. I was a little nervous because they were wanting them to run 30-35 laps and I know Madison gets tired quicker than most kids. However, this girl always amazes me. She finished the fun run and wanted to keep going and even do it again the next day. She is one determined girl-- who is not going to let anything stand in her way!! Go Girl-- we are so proud of you and all that you accomplish.

Miles is loving school!! He wants to go everyday and PLAY with Anson-- he says. He is so lucky to have his cousin in his class this year. They are going to be super great friends  I know. He has, however, been coming home covered from head to toe in sand. These pictures from his teacher explain that. This boy loves him some sand!!

Big Boy Bed

Miles has been getting out of his crib for a while now, so a few weeks ago we dropped the mattress all the way to the ground. We thought there was no way he could get out now-- well we were mistaken. Saturday while we were watching the game and he was "napping" we heard a knocking at his bedroom door-- yes he climbed out somehow. So right then we converted the crib to a toddler bed. I thought there would be no way he would stay in and nap. Well, I was wrong again-- he climbed in and layed down. This made me a little sad knowing he was not my baby boy anymore. No more crib=no more baby boy. He has been doing great!!! He was so proud of himself after that nap!!

I guess I need to start working on his big boy room.

Sweet Boy

I just want to tell y'all how sweet this boy of mine is. He is such a lover aka worlds best hugger!! He loves his sissy so. Ok-- rant over!! Love him!

PE Obsessed

This girl loves PE days and work out clothes!! She did 10 burpies before she even left for school. I mean she is totally rocking school and looking cute while she is doing it!! She isn't going to let anything stop her. She also knows how to work a camera. Just had to share the video she wanted me to take. Get it girl!!

This week I have been working on the front porch and getting it ready for fall.  I sanded down and painted the rocking chairs Charleston Green, hung the fall wreath, and got my mums. I will post a final picture when I am all done. I still need to get a few things out of the storage tubs to go out.

The Latest

We have been crazy busy with school and this pool. I think we are finally in a good school routine, which is nice. Madison is still LOVING school and learning so much. Miles comes home singing new songs everyday he goes. This past week he has been crying to not leave school. How sweet right?? at least he likes it!!  This boy is school ready.

Just had to share this—Madison was the leader at school yesterday and this was what she said she liked—guess we need to cut back on our  Target trips!!

5 Months

EAT, EAT, EAT—This girl loves to eat!!!! We have tried just about every veggie and every fruit and she loves them ALL! I mean she hasn’t spit out 1 thing. She is now eating an entire jar of food plus rice cereal and then asking for more!! She is also now all over the place and trying to sit up on her own. We have almost mastered sleeping through the night--- we are so close!! She definitely prefers to sleep on her side or stomach, which has helped her sleeping.  Like most babies—everything these days goes in the mouth—we are talking toys, hands, bibs, feet—anything she can get her hands on. I think she is getting pretty close to the finger foods like puffs and cheerios. She loves her brother and sister—it is so sweet to see her face light up when they come in the room. Gosh we loves this precious girl!!!
