Hand Me Downs
There are some special hand me downs from Madison that I am so excited for Morgan to wear!! This dress being one of them. Madison wore it when she turned 1 and I just couldn’t wait to get Morgan in it. As you can tell, it wasn’t easy getting her to stand still for a picture. She is constantly moving now, but I think some of the action shots are so cute. You can tell that she likes to walk with her hands held up around her shoulders. I am guessing this helps with her balance being that she is in the 99.9% for height. Look at them side by side at the bottom—how precious and sweet!! I also was loving all the black and whites and couldn’t decide which version I liked better.

I am also starting to make a list of all we will need on our vacation this summer with the kids and family to Scotland and Ireland. I need to start now so I am not doing it all last minute and forget something!! Any tips on traveling international with little ones?? I have purchased a huge carry on so I can be prepared on the plane!!
This weekend I also had my 15 year class reunion-- I mean what?? 15 years?? That's crazy-- it was so fun catching up with everyone and let's talk about how nice The Restoration hotel was and the restaurant had the most amazing view of Charleston!! Wow!!

Morgan’s Birthday Party
It is safe to say that I LOVE to plan a party!! That being said I picked a light pink and gold theme for hers. These are colors fit for a princess and that she is!! I found her outfit and invitation on ETSY and they were perfect to say the least.
As far as the food and decorations are concerned—I didn’t do as much as I normally do. I figured with the time(which worked best around naps) that most people wouldn’t want much. I ordered the cookies, which were so yummy, from Charleston Flour Garden. She is the best!! I got the cakes from Bakies, which never disappoints. Although I wasn’t that excited about the bright yellow gold paper that was put on the base of the cake. It didn’t really match, but what was I going to do. I made the pink chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels with gold sprinkles. Super easy!! I also whipped up a Prosecco Punch, which was amazing. It had Prosecco, raspberry lemonade, grenadine, basil, fresh strawberries, raspberries, and lemons. SO YUMMY!!! I also bought a frame and had everyone who was there sign the mat to hand a picture from her birthday pictures. I have done this with all the other kids and it is so special!! I think it is safe to say it was a success!! oh yeah—I did paint the highchair pink and make the monthly picture banner!! Any other details or sources needed just ask!!
