So I tried to get her to stand still to take a picture---- but that wasn’t happening. She did sit still at her Valentine’s Tea, so those are semi decent pictures. She was so cute at the tea—notice in the picture that she is lifting her pinky finger while she is drinking the tea--she told her friends, “this is how you drink it”!! These pictures do, however, so off her spunky and fun personality!! She was such a sweet Valentine!!
I hope every one has a wonderful Valentine’s day!! Craig and I are going to go to a Valentine’s lunch downtown while Madison is at school!!! Then I am off to a Valentine’s Day Tea for the moms in Madison’s class!! I can’t wait!! Here are the Valentines we are taking for Madison’s friends at school.
I mean this girl rocks our world…..she is just a vivacious and fun little girl!! She makes every day so fun and full of life!! I think these say it all…..oh yeah—she had to wear her boots just like mommy—too stinkin' cute!!
It has taken awhile to get the memorial in place, but it is there now and WE LOVE IT!!! We just went out this weekend and put some flowers on it for him!! I just love that he is in such a peaceful and beautiful place…. right under an angel oak tree. We were able to design it ourselves, which meant a lot-- those are his actual footprints on the front. “There is a star in Heaven….It comes out every night….I know the star is you BENNETT…. You have come to say Goodnight.” We Love You!!

It is so sweet to have the simple things in life bring you so much JOY!! Watching my baby girl try to “Fish” in the back yard was what I needed to sooth my sole. She is just a blessing from God that brings so much JOY into our lives!!
WOW—is all I have to say— There is nothing like going to lunch by yourself and breaking down over how much you miss your sweet boy!! I mean it doesn’t get any easier……Man I LOVE THAT LITTLE FELLA!!!! There just seems to be a constant hole in my heart and with Valentine’s Day and his birthday day around the corner it just seems to be pretty tough these days. I still can’t believe it will be a year soon from the last time we got to love on him. What this momma wouldn't give to have just one more second with him. I know he is looking down on us and keeping us safe, but gosh it is hard. I just hope he knows how much we miss and love him!!
