Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter. Madison loved what the Easter Bunny brought her. She did not want to get out of the chair all morning. She read books in it, ate, and relaxed. We also did a small hunt in her playroom with eggs that had money in them. You should have seen her face when she opened the eggs….. She yelled “Money” with the biggest smile ever!!  It was a long and packed day: We went to church, then to my parents for lunch, and Craig’s parents for the afternoon. Madison did lots of egg hunting and socializing. We did discover that she LOVES Cadbury crème eggs! She was pooped when we got home.  Last night was also her first night in her new big girl bed.  She loved it!!

 

Happy 2nd Birthday Grady!

Today, we drove down to Bluffton,SC for Grady’s 2nd Birthday party. We had not seen the Theiling’s in a long time, so it was nice to catch up with them.  Grady had a construction themed party. It was so cute!! Liza did a great job with all the food and decorations. I hope we get to see them again soon!

   

2 Year Old Pictures

So here are some of my favorites from Madison’s 2 year old photo shoot. She is filled with so much HAPPINESS, JOY, and LOVE. She is truly a blessing and we thank God everyday for her!!

                     

Grandparents Day

Madison had Grandparents Day at her school this week, so my mom (GIGI) and dad (paw paw) were able to go with her to school. Her CC and Granddaddy were there for some of the time as well, but our niece and nephew go to the same school, so they had to split their time up between all the grandkids. From the pictures I saw….. Madison had a wonderful time. The MMO did their own thing separate from the rest of the school, since they are so much smaller. They played on the playground, sang songs (she can sing row row your boat—so darn cute), and had a few snacks. Here are a few pictures from her fun filled day with the grandparents at school.

Hoppy Easter!

Madison had a little Easter party at her school, so I decided to send treats for all the kids. I was going to try and make the cookies from scratch again, but I just ran out of time. I think they all still enjoyed them! Hoppy Easter!

Little Mama

Madison is going to be one great helper…..I was able to capture this picture yesterday of her taking care of her babies. I can’t wait for her to meet her little brother!!

I tried catching this moment as well, but it turned out a little blurry. She is so loving to all!

Mia’s Easter Egg Hunt

This is the second year that Madison’s friend Mia has held an Easter egg hunt. Madison and Mia are only 2 weeks a part in age, so they are good buddies. A lot of Madison’s neighborhood peeps were there. Mia’s mom does such a great job.  In addition to the egg hunt, she also hangs peeps from a tree and the kids are supposed to try and eat them WITHOUT using their hands. Madison cheated and used her hands…however, she was the smallest one there and hands were necessary to reach it. Madison was still a little slow at the Easter egg hunt this year. She was more interested in opening each one than trying to get more eggs. I think she got 3 eggs! It was so cute and Madison had a great time. We can’t wait to do it again next year!! Thanks Mia!
