I can’t believe that you woke up today 3! Where in the world has time gone?? Your joy for life is beyond measurable and I love that. You are such a light to this world that we just love so much!! I am so glad God picked you for our family and I can’t imagine our lives without you. As I started to cry last night putting you to bed for the last time as a 2 year old— in your sweet sweet voice you said— “Don’t cry mommy! I don’t want you to cry mommy!” Keep bringing the joy and happiness to our lives and we can’t wait to see what this year holds for you— and hopefully that means getting potty trained. Happy 8th Birthday Madison!
Wow—you blink and they are 8. We decided we wanted to do something big for her 8th birthday—and so we surprised her with a trip to Disney World. We woke them up like it was time for school and headed out, but instead of school we ended up at the Polynesian Hotel in Disney World. They were so excited. As soon as we got there they headed straight for the water park. They had a blast with all the slides and play areas. Our room over looked the lake so we have a clear shot of the fireworks every night—so awesome. The next day we headed for Epcot. The kids had a blast on all the rides and loved the lunch with all the princesses!! Their favorites were Test Track, Soren, and Frozen. The next day (Madison’s Birthday) we hit up Magic Kingdom and boy let me tell you—we have some roller coaster junkies on our hands. They ALL loved them!!!!! For dinner Madison and I went to the Grand Floridian Hotel to eat with Cinderella and her crew. She loved it and then just the 2 of us went back to the park to ride more rides!!! Man what an awesome birthday!!! So many wonderful memories we made. Can’t wait to do it again!!!
