Happy 5th Birthday My Sweet Angel

These birthdays seem to come so quickly……and never seem to get any easier. I love celebrating this sweet boy, but oh so wish he was here. I sit back and wonder what our life would be like with a 7, 5, 3, and 2 year old. What he would be in to, what his personality would be like, who he would look like, and so much more. I know that he is celebrating the right way and knows just how much he is missed and loved. I can’t believe it has been 5 years since I got to hold and kiss him. Gosh—what I wouldn’t do for one more kiss!! Madison, Miles, and Morgan had a wonderful day celebrating him!! We made him a cake and sang to him!! I hope he knows how much his sisters and brother adore him even though they never met. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Playhouse Makeover

So if y’all haven’t check out my friend Leslie’s blog Cozy by The Sea – y’all need to. She is awesome!! Her recent post on her playhouse makeover got my brain working!! The next day I began to tackle the PLAYHOUSE MAKEOVER. We have had our play house for about 5 years. It is weathered and in desperate need of a makeover.

 

My style is more farmhouse, so I wanted to make it match ours! I began by painting the entire house white!! It took 2 coats, but looked great!! I then decided I wanted the door to be a statement piece—so I painted it grey!! The play house had plastic windows before, but once I took them out to paint the house – I ended up liking it without putting the windows back. Same goes with the top of the door. I also spray painted all the appliance to be stainless steel. Then I added some fun little décor—banner, sign, and fake plant—and there you have it!! The kids are no obsessed with it and are in it all the time!!

 

 

   

Good Ole Days

Love catching these in the moment shots of these little ones as they explore and learn this world. I don’t want to forget these moments when they have 1000 questions and see/do things for the first time. I love exploring the world with them and watching them learn and grow every single day!

Best we could do—real life—hard to get all of them looking in the same direction at that the same time.  Hope everyone had an amazing Easter!! These kids were filthy and tired at the end of the day!! So blessed!!

Life Lately

Life has been busy….hence my lack of posts!! So I am going to try and play catch up in 1 post- sorry.  We have been strawberry picking—which were some of the best strawberries I have ever eaten, doing lemonade stands in the neighborhood, and cruising the streets on our scooter enjoying this nice weather!! Now it is Spring Break--Madison went to Florida with my mom and had a blast!! They hit up water parks, the beach, and St. Augustine!! Miles and Morgan stayed here with us and went to Paw Patrol Live—where they were in heaven!! So fun to see them singing and dancing along with the pups!! Ready for school to get back next week, so we can get back in our routine. I love a routine!! oh yeah—and I got braces --- again--- I totally forget what this was like back in middle school—the pain, the raw lips – but it will be worth it to have straight bottom teeth AGAIN. PS—all the pictures below of me— I have the braces on—you can’t even see them—that is why I chose braces over invisilgn incase you were wondering! Hope everyone has a very Fun and Happy Easter!!
