We don’t get snow here often—I mean we are talking it has been 4 years, since we have seen snow here, so Madison was very excited. She was window watching for it all day and night. When she woke up in the morning, she was so upset that there was NO snow. Then all the sudden it starting snowing—so we quickly bundled up and headed out. We are talking no longer than 15 minutes and it was over—that was all we got. So much for SNOW 2014—a better name is ICE 2014. We got lots of ICE all over, but that was about it. One upset little girl!! She did however enjoy the 15 minutes we had!!

7 MONTHS
This month has ben full of Miles learning to scoot all around and sit unassisted. Oh yeah—feed himself too!! He will now sit and play with toys for awhile. He does still fall over after awhile or if his sissy thinks he needs a hug. His personality is starting to grow and you can see how loving and fun he is. He is weighing in at 19.2 pounds and measuring 28.5” tall. Miles is eating us out of house and home—literally. This boy can eat, but has issues with some textures and will gag on them. I tried giving him cut up bananas and mash potatoes, which he wanted nothing to do with except to gag on them. Silly boy loves his baby food and puffs!! He also got his top 2 front teeth!! CUTE!!! It is getting harder and harder for me to get a decant picture of him inside the frame and on the sofa. He wants to be on the move!! Can’t do a post without a few of sissy!! Oh Yeah—he said momma as well. Just a few times, but it was awesome!!

Blessed Day
Baptism is such a special moment in the life of a child. It seals them with the blessings, protection, and love of our God. When we were first discussing Miles’s baptism, we had no doubt that we wanted to have very special people to influence him with his walk with the Lord and with out any questions we knew that Mark and Lindsay would be perfect!! They are such a sweet and precious family and we just adore them!! We feel so honored that they agreed to be Miles’s Godparents. The baptism was perfect, even if he pulled both his socks off and chowed down on Wey’s stole. Miles had the entire church laughing. I am thinking this is a snapshot into our future!! It meant so much to us to be able to have him baptized with his big brother right there!! I know he was looking down with a big smile on his face for his little brother!! After the service, we all headed back to the farm for lunch. Gosh, it was a perfect day with perfect weather!! GOD is GREAT!!!
