MEMORIAL DAY

We had a pretty laid back Memorial Day as I am getting pretty uncomfortable doing too much at this point. I just want you all to know how thankful I am to still be pregnant at 37 weeks. All the prayers and doctors close eye has me at full term and Miles still cooking!! I know his big brother has been watching over us as well!! We are getting so excited and can’t wait to meet him. They did an ultrasound today and he is weighing in at around 8 pounds. BIG BOY!!! Sorry for the subject change…..back to Memorial Day!! We just hung out in the back yard and let Madison play in our “pool”. I hope to one day have a “real” pool, but for now this will do. She had a blast!! After lunch, we headed out to Craig’s parents for a cookout. And of course, we had to end the night with a trip to Yum Yum to satisfy this wicked sweets craving I have. Thanks again to all the men and women who serve our country and protect our freedom!!

So it was hard for me this year to narrow it down, but I think this is pretty accurate.

LAST DAY OF 2K

I can’t believe the school year is over. Where has time gone??? I feel like just yesterday we were taking her for her first day of 2K. She has grown so much this year, maybe not much taller, but definitely more mature and smarter. This school year, she became potty trained, can dress herself, can say her ABC’s, can count to 15, knows all her colors, knows about metamorphosis, knows all the shapes, knows the days on the week and the months of the year. That is just to name a few. I can’t believe how big and smart my baby girl is getting. We love her to pieces and know she is going to be the BEST big sister!!! I tired to do a little photo shot to capture her last day of school…. needless to say, she has one awesome personality that you can definitely see in these pictures!! Sorry for the overload, but they were just too cute not to share.

Dancing Baby

Thanks to Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill, Madison has a new baby doll she loves!!! This one can hook up to the ipod and it will dance to the music. I thought this was too cute not to share. This was this morning at breakfast.

Happy Mother’s Day

This year we spent Mother’s Day celebrating my youngest brother’s graduation from college. We had a nice party for him filled with great food, friends, and family. I am on semi bed rest, so I was not able to get many pictures. Also, Madison has not been feeling well, so she was not in the picture taking mood either. I love being a momma to my 3 beautiful children!! They make my life worth every minute!! I LOVE THEM TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!!

 

First Birthday

This past week was my Sweet Boy’s First Birthday!! I can believe it has been a year since we held and kissed him. He has been one blessing that we will never be forgotten!!! He has truly opened my eyes to all the blessings we have in life!! I know he has been looking over us as we enter the final stages of this pregnancy and he has been making sure his mom and brother are safe and healthy.  I know one day we will all be together as a family again!! He is one special little boy who is missed deeply!! WE LOVE YOU BENNETT!!! For his birthday, we went out and spent a few hours with him. It meant a lot to me to get to spend some time out there with him and our family.  I had a special sign made just for him!!! He would have been the best BIG BROTHER!!!

        

Caterpillar Picnic

Madison has been learning about metamorphosis at school this month, so each  class had 4 caterpillars that they are watching turn into butterflies. PS-- It is the cutest thing to listen to her say metamorphosis. At the end of the month, they had a Hungry Caterpillar picnic at the park to release the butterflies. However, Madison’s class had NO butterflies yet. She still had a good time playing with her friends on the playground. Her teacher made their class these cute t-shirts to wear so they all would match!! They did, eventually, turn to butterflies a few days later!!

PS- I was trying to get a halfway decant picture of Madison and me and this is what I get!! However, she looks way better with that silly face than I do with my swollen 8 month pregnant face!! Just saying!!
