Boating and Fishing

Madison and Craig went fishing, in the pond behind our house, for the first time this season and I think poor Madison is now traumatized. Craig caught a small fish and brought it over for Madison to see. As he was showing her, it slipped out of his hands and into her lap. She freaked out and now wants nothing to do with fishing. She was also very upset with her daddy as well. Once that happened, we decided to stop fishing and go in the boat.  We weren’t sure how she would do this year in the boat, but she LOVED it!! She had a great time with her friends Reeves and William. We hope to go in the boat again real soon.

 

   

SWING!!!!!!!

We have been in the mountains for the past 5 days (pics to come soon) and when we returned home Daddy had a nice surprise for his baby girl……… A SWING SET!! Madison LOVES to swing!! She can do it for hours and when we try to stop she says “ONE MORE TIME”. It looks great and, with the help of Mr. Mike, they got it done in 2 days. It is perfect for us and Madison loves it!! Thanks Daddy and Mr. Mike!!

 

       

Mountains

Madison and I went with my mom (GIGI) to our mountain house for the weekend. We knew we were going to have cooler weather, but not SNOW. Madison loved the snow. We did a lot of relaxing and playing. Madison is such an entertainer. She loved having tea parties, changing everyone’s diaper, and singing for us. Here are some pictures from out trip (and yes, she is reading the US weekly and staring at the guy on the back with his shirt off!!)

 

    

     

Row Row Row Your Boat

Madison learned a new song in school and LOVES to sing it. I have been trying really hard to get the enitre song on video. This was the best I could do. She seems to be more interested in the diapers than letting mommy catch the entire song.

Spring Break 2012

Madison was on spring break this week, so we headed to Myrtle Beach for a few days with Craig’s family.  We all stayed in a nice hotel right on the beach with a great indoor pool and lazy river. Madison was not so sure of the pool, but quickly warmed up to it. She loved jumping into her CC’s and daddy’s arms. The weather was nice. It was not as warm as we would have liked, but no rain!! We also  went to the aquarium and did some shopping. Madison loved playing with her cousins for three days. It was a fun getaway.

            

Afternoon at the Condon’s

I thought I would try and capture some pictures of a typical weekday afternoon at the Condon’s. Once Madison gets up from her nap, we like to go outside and have some fun. She loves to play with bubble, pick all my flowers, ride in her wagon or car, and play with Woody.  Here are a few pictures from Friday afternoon.

                                         

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter. Madison loved what the Easter Bunny brought her. She did not want to get out of the chair all morning. She read books in it, ate, and relaxed. We also did a small hunt in her playroom with eggs that had money in them. You should have seen her face when she opened the eggs….. She yelled “Money” with the biggest smile ever!!  It was a long and packed day: We went to church, then to my parents for lunch, and Craig’s parents for the afternoon. Madison did lots of egg hunting and socializing. We did discover that she LOVES Cadbury crème eggs! She was pooped when we got home.  Last night was also her first night in her new big girl bed.  She loved it!!

 

Happy 2nd Birthday Grady!

Today, we drove down to Bluffton,SC for Grady’s 2nd Birthday party. We had not seen the Theiling’s in a long time, so it was nice to catch up with them.  Grady had a construction themed party. It was so cute!! Liza did a great job with all the food and decorations. I hope we get to see them again soon!
