Pinterest Round 3

I have been a little slack with my Pinterest projects lately. I have been doing LOTS of recipes, but not so many DIY projects. Just thought I would post what I have done so far this year. I do, however, have lots of started projects that have not been completed. I need to try and finish these before this baby comes. I love me some PINTEREST if you can’t tell !!

Strawberry Pickin’ 2012

The strawberry pickin’ season opened here on Monday, so we decided to go today because Madison loves strawberries!! Madison had her own bucket, which  I thought she would go to town with. However, she was more interested in all the strawberries on the ground. She didn’t seem to want to pick the ones that were on the plants, so needless to say I did most of the picking. Luckily my mom (GIGI) came, so she could walk around and keep up with her. We did get some yummy strawberries!!

    

2 Year Pictures

I am so excited and can’t wait to see all the pictures we took today out at Magnolia Plantation with Tamara. She is amazing and we love working with her.  I had been planning her outfits for awhile and I just can’t wait to see this sweet little girl in them!! We spent the entire afternoon out there walking around and exploring. Madison loved the petting zoo. Most of the animals were loose and would walk right up to you. She loved getting licked by the deer and petting the goats. She is such a ray of sunshine and we just can’t get enough of it. It is, however, sometimes a task to try and get her to smile for the camera. Here is a little teaser that Tamara posted for us!! I will post more later!

 

Just a little too BIG!

We were going to go to the park today, but the rain had something to say about that idea. When I came back into the playroom with Madison’s snack, this is how I found her.  Madison wasn’t going to let the rain stop her from her stroller ride.  I think she might just be a little too big for this stroller.  Eventually, she gave up asking to go for a ride and just sat in it and watched her show.   Poor Madison!!

                                                               

St. Patrick’s Day

Today, we had an LPA children’s play date here in Charleston.  We all were very excited to get all the children in the area (statewide) together to play. They are all around the same ages (1.5 to 4) and loved playing together. It was so sweet to see them all play together. Madison had a blast, but was a little quite with no nap before. She was completely exhausted and fell asleep on the way home. I hope we can do it again real soon!!

    

Fear No Easel

Well, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried to be a little artist. I have never been one for painting as I have always been a stick figure kind of girl. Christine invited me to go with them to Fear No Easel to paint a palm tree, so I thought I would give it a try. It was a little stressful I do have to admit, but by the end it turned out ok. I am still not sure that you will find the picture hanging in my house, but maybe one day. Here is what we were painting last night and what mine ended up looking like. Thanks again Christine for inviting me to go with you all!! I had a blast!

                          

I am so LUCKY!!

This was last minute for Madison’s class, but I thought they turned out pretty good.  I also found out that Madison LOVES Lucky Charms!!

Counting

In the car or while she is playing, out of the blue she will just start counting. So I think we have a little work to do.....It is still so dang cute to listen to her count. Love her!!

Baby C’s Room

We have officially begun working on Baby C’s room. I was hoping to have a name by now, but it seems as if Craig is a little indecisive with that part.  Here is a little sneak peek at his room. Can you tell that Madison is excited?? (Sorry the picture isn’t the best it was taken on my phone.)

Makes you SMILE!!

Gosh…. I love this girl!! She is a ray of sunshine and the light of our lives. She is always happy, which is so amazing considering all she has been through.  You would never know that this week she had been to the doctor 3 times, had her finger pricked twice, had blood drawn at the hospital, and had been bagged twice to get a urine sample. We love her to pieces!!! 

Circus

Yesterday, GiGi, Uncle Philip, Craig, and I took Madison to the circus for the first time.  We had great seat, so Madison was able to see everything up close. She had the best time. She loved all the animals!! She was waving and calling all the animal’s names the entire time. After the horses were gone, she looked at me and said “bye bye horsey”.  I could just eat this girl up!! GiGi and Paw Paw gave her this cute dress to wear too. Thank you GiGi and Paw Paw!!
