Boat Ride

We took Madison on her first Boat ride Friday night. We were not sure how it was going to go with her having to wear a life jacket the entire time, but it ended up being just fine. She looked a little squished in the jacket, but not once did she complain about it. She spent most of the ride walking all over the boat following Mackenna around. She wasn’t going to let the life jacket slow her down!! I think they both had a great time!!

 

Staying Cool

It is rather warm here, so we decided to spend our Friday at the Aquarium. Madison just loves going and gets so excited as soon as she sees the FISH!! I think we could spend the whole time looking at the first tank. She loves to walk around the tank and point and say FISH. In case you are wondering what that is on her cheek…. she got attacked by mosquitoes last night and has bites all over her face, feet, and hands. :(

Naughty Madison

So this is what I caught Madison doing today. Aren’t these supposed to keep them out of the sockets? I guess she is just to smart for these covers. She knew she was being naughty too!!

                              

                             

First Dentist Appt

We had Madison's first dentist appt today and it really wasn't as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. Dr. Paul was really good with her and had done his homework on Achondroplasia, so he knew what he was looking for. He said her teeth looked good and that her molars look as if they are almost going to pop through. We go back in 6 months for her first cleaning :)

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my dad and to my husband!! Madison is so lucky to have such a fun, loving, and silly daddy!! We love you so much and appreciate all you do for our family!!

Poor Madison

So this is how her daddy decided to dress her today!! Double protection with a diaper on the outside as well --is what he was thinking!! I thought this was cute, but I will be checking her every morning before she leaves the house.

Pool Party!!

Today we went over to Mia's house for a pool party. Madison and Mia are only about 2 weeks apart and LOVE to play together. They played for a while and then there buddy Reeve's decided to came over to chill with the ladies!! They are all so cute together. We are so lucky to have so many great friends in the neighborhood.

Ball Pit

At Adele's 1st birthday party-- Madison loved the ball pit Katie had made, so I decided to try and make one too. Madison LOVES it. She likes to find things in the balls-- she will have us hide toys for her to find. She will also just sit in the ball pit and watch her shows!! Thanks Katie for the great idea!!

Buddy Fruit

So I let Madison try the Buddy Fruit Apples & Bananas and I think as you can tell she loved it!! I mean she was trying to squeeze it so hard to get the very last drop out. I guess Buddy Fruit will be on my shopping list this week!!

Adele Turns One!!

We had a fun and busy weekend!! Saturday we played in the pool in the backyard and then we went to Merrill and Ben's Wedding, which was perfect. Merrill looked amazing and the Thomas Bennett House was just perfect. Then today we had Adele's First Birthday Party. Madison loved playing with Adele and Hope. As you can see from the pictures Madison and Hope were dressed alike...and no we did not plan this. Madison had a blast at the party and can't wait to hang out with her friends again soon!!
