Christmas Day 2011!
Christmas Day for us is always a LONG day because we go to both families. We had to wake Madison up around 9am to start her big bay at her GUGU’s and PAW PAW’s house. She was so excited to see what she got and more excited I think to rip things open. Her big present was a electric car! She was a little hesitant at first to sit in it, but she is definitely warming up to it. She still hasn’t held down the button to go anywhere yet, but we are working on that. After we opened ALL of her presents and ate breakfast, we headed to CC and Granddaddy’s house for round #2. As you can see in the pictures she liked to help daddy put together her presents. Madison had a GREAT day and was exhausted from all her entertaining. Here are a few pictures from our day! (PS- Madison had a sleep study done last week and brought home those gloves. She did not want to take them off. Maybe she will be a doctor??)
Christmas Eve
We went to my parent’s or as Madison’s calls them GUGU and PAW PAW’s house for Christmas Eve for dinner and festivities. Madison loved the meal and did great during the Christmas Eve Children’s Service despite the fact she did not want to let go of the $5 that we gave her to put into the offering plate:) That night Madison put out her reindeer food and had a great time hanging out with her uncles!! She was ready for SANTA!! If you ask her what Santa is bring her…she says “PRESENTS”. It was the sweetest thing.
Reindeer Food
This year I decided to make Reindeer Food for Madison’s class as their Christmas Treat! I think they turned out pretty cute.

Shriners Christmas Party
Today we went to the Omar Shriners Christmas Party. They invite all their “heros” (aka patients) in the area to come. This was our first year and it was amazing. They had face painting, cookie decorating, jump castles, lots of food, SANTA(that came in on a sleigh), presents and much more for the kids. Madison LOVED decorating the cookies!! So this was Madison’s 2nd time seeing Santa and we ended up with the same result. Poor Santa!! Guess who also ended up in Santa’s lap??

LPA Mountain Weekend
This weekend we went to Maggie Valley for our first LPA event. We were very excited. However, when we pulled up to the lodge….we were a little taken back as it was very RUSTIC. We made the most of this and had a great weekend. We were close to Cherokee, so we went to Harrah’s Friday Night and ate at Paula Dean’s restaurant. It was not as great as I was hoping it was going to be, but it was still good. Madison loved the banana pudding!! We got to meet a lot of great people from our region over the weekend. All in all it was a great weekend despite the rat torn toilet paper and rat droppings on our towels :(

Party Cat!
This little cat loves to party!! She had the best time this year trick or treating. She did not want to stop. She would just strut from house to house in her squeaky shoes. Once she would get candy she would hold onto the candy until she arrived at the next house. She would then hand me the old candy and grab 2 more pieces from the new house. She did this the entire time. She also said “Thank You” at every house. I could not get her to say trick or treat. Once we got home, with a bucket full of candy, she was headed right back out the door and down the sidewalk to go again. She is such a little party girl. We all had so much fun trick or treating with our friends and their wonderful and cute kids. Madison is so lucky to have such good friends in the neighborhood. I can’t wait for next Halloween!!

Yum….
This was Madison’s first time to the Coastal Carolina Fair. We were not sure what she would be able to do, but thought she would still love to eat and people watch just like her MOMMY!! The entire Condon Family was able to go, which made it a lot of fun. We first took Madison to the petting zoo. She loved feeding all the animals!! Next came the rides. Madison was able to go on a few rides with her Daddy. She started out a little nervous on the Ferris Wheel, but by the end she was waving at me every time she went around. We eventually met up with Madison’s good friend Mackenna. They always have so much fun together. Now for the food….I think Madison approved of the fair food. Here is a list of all the things she ate and loved: corndog, Fiske fries, cotton candy, chicken fingers, fried kool aid, and fresh squeezed lemonade. The new food at the fair this year was the fried kool aid…..It was YUMMY!! We also got the fried cheesecake..YUMMY…the fried butter….the fried cookie dough. I thought they were all yummy!! All in all, I think the first fair was a success for Madison. Next year she will be able to ride more rides, which I know she will enjoy!! Oh yeah… I forgot to mention that Madison got to meet “Elsie”.
