Happy Halloween 2015

Happy Halloween!!

Love, Taylor Swift, Jake, and the pink cat

They had the best time trick or treating this year.  This was the first year for Miles, since he wasn’t walking last year. Needless to say he had a blast and when he went up to ever door he would either say “ARRRR” or “Ahoy Matey”. It was so cute!!!  Watch out Taylor Swift—this girl is going to rule the stage!! She loved it so much she said she wants to be her again next year!!! Morgan was the pink cat that Madison was when she was 2. This was also our first Halloween in the new neighborhood and all I have to say is that it did not disappoint. There were hundreds of kids and the houses were decked to the nines—there was even a haunted house. Hope everyone had a safe and fun night!

Pumpkin Patch

We decided to hit up the pumpkin patch, after school yesterday, in hopes it would be less crowded and because the weather was so beautiful. I went with the hopes of getting a cute picture of all of them together in their pumpkin outfits with the pumpkins---- well lets just say I will take what I can get and I mean this is what I got. I will leave it at that—and yes her doll has a matching dress too—she loved that!!

6 Month Photo Shoot

I attempted to try and take some pictures of Morgan myself in the park. It sounded like a great idea until Miles wanted to be in EVERY picture.  So with that being said……….this was the best I could do. The settings were hard to adjust as I was trying to keep Miles away and get the lighting right all at the same time along with making sure she doesn’t fall over. I definitely could have used a second set of hands.

Hand Me Downs/ Sisters

I love it that Morgan is getting to wear some of Madison’s special outfits. How special it is to have a sister to share clothes, toys, and special moments with. I can’t wait to see how close they become!!

6 Months

I think I need to pinch myself because there is no way she is already 6 months. I mean she is now sitting on her own, eating everything in sight, and talking up a storm. She is also figuring out the sippy cup, which at this point is more for entertainment than anything else to her. She also is loving the highchair!! This month she has really been on the move. Also, anything she can get her hands on, goes in her mouth, which means we have to be super careful. Her smile is so contagious and I just can’t get enough of it. She is also super in love with her brother and sister. She thinks they are hilarious and really wants to play with them all the time.  She did awesome at her check up—we even added the flu shot on top of all the others and she barely cried. She came in at a whopping 16.5 pounds  and 27.5 inches long.

Dwarfism Awareness Month

October is dwarfism awareness month, so I like to try and spread a little love and knowledge this month. I have a link on the side that goes into depth about Madison's form of dwarfism achondroplasia, if you would like more information. The main thing we want people to know is she is just like every other kid just a little smaller. Her heart, brain, and personality are overflowing and so amazing. She lights up every room she goes into and can put a smile on your face in no time-- As I am sure you can tell through all of her pictures!! This girl is going to do amazing things!!
